CASE Announces Partnership with Goldman Sachs 10KSB

April 28, 2016

CASE is now an official nominating partner for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program (10KSB). Nationally, 10KSB has been recognized as the premiere program for small business growth. The Chicago program launched five years ago, training more than 400 businesses at Harold Washington College, one of the City colleges of Chicago.

Eligible businesses referred to CASE by our Anchors will now be referred to 10KSB for their established capacity building curriculum: nine modules and five clinics over 15 weeks. Additionally, CASE will provide anchor-specific procurement training to small businesses through joint workshops. The programs will work together to identify suitable businesses work with anchors.

With this combined training, the small business owners will complete nearly 150 instructional hours plus one-on-one business advising. Alumni of the 10KSB program in Chicago have a track record of business growth: 72 percent of participants have reported increasing their revenues six months after graduating, and 50 percent have reported creating net new jobs.
